Congregational Care

The Congregational Care Ministry Team

The Congregational Care Ministry Team provides compassionate care through personal contact with members of the church community who have special needs for spiritual support. This ministry reaches out to our home-bound members, those who are experiencing personal or extended family illness and hospitalization and those who have experienced a loss in their life.
For more information about ways you can help or if you'd like to receive a visit from a Pastor or a member of the Congregational Care, please contact the church office.

Prayer Team

Because we believe the act of prayer is an important element of any community, we have a Prayer Team. This team, made of staff and church members, receives prayer requests and prays over them individually and collectively, as a team. We invite you to join this Prayer Team and/or submit your personal prayers to this community. All prayer submitted are kept confidential.

Home-Bound Communion & Senior Ministry

The Home-bound Communion Team visits with church members who are either home-bound or who reside in local nursing or assisted living facilities. In addition to providing communion, the team members visit and pray with the church members. If you have a loved one who would benefit from visits by the team, please contact the church office.

Spiritual Direction

People experience and respond to God in different ways. This is influenced in part by their life experience, their personality, and their cultural and religious backgrounds. The focus of spiritual direction is discerning the movement of the Spirit in the life of the “directee.” Spiritual directors listen carefully to the unfolding of their directees’ lives to help them discern how the Divine is leading them. A director and directee have regular one-on-one meetings (usually about an hour, once a month) to more deeply explore the directee’s spiritual journey.
